The Open Water Foundation received a Cache la Poudre National Heritage Area 2021 grant from the Poudre Heritage Alliance. This funding was used to enhance the Poudre Basin Information website, including enhancements to the wildfire and flood conditions maps. The website software and data processing tools and workflows were also updated to streamline data processing. Wildfire recovery and flood monitoring are critical activities to ensure that the Poudre Basin recovers from recent wildfires. OWF staff also presented the website to decision-makers in the basin as a resource for education and operational support. OWF will continue to enhance the website and use it as an example as similar websites are implemented for other basins.
